Bertram Allen with Lafayette Van Overis won the CSI4* - Jump Off - 1.45m in St. Tropez
Bertram Allen with nine-year-old gelding Lafayette Van Overis L won CSI4* 1.45m Longines Ranking class at Hubside Jumping in Grimaud, France in front of Nicolas Delmotte on Urvoso du Roch, and Pénélope Leprévost on Varennes du Breuil.
Bertam said: "It was a class with many very serious competitors, as expected on the HUBSIDE JUMPING. The level is exceptional! Seventeen riders qualified for the jump-off, and I knew we had to go very very fast. I'm lucky: Lafayette Van Overis is particularly successful at this kind of course. The idea was to give everything and not waste time anywhere. "
