The Brazilian Equestrian Federation has announced the horse-and-athlete combinations selected to represent Brazil at the 2026 FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany.
The team, led by chef d’équipe Pedro Paulo Lacerda, brings together a strong group of experienced championship riders and high-level combinations as Brazil prepares for one of the most important events in the international jumping calendar.
The selected combinations are:
* Luciana Diniz with Vertigo du Desert
* Marlon Modolo Zanotelli with Dorette Old and Ilex
* IJRC Board Member Rodrigo Pessoa with Major Tom and Prins Van’t Eigenlo
* Stephan Barcha with Dinozo Império Egípcio and Chevaux Primavera Império Egípcio
* Yuri Mansur with QH Alfons Santo Antonio
The reserve combinations are:
* Eduardo Pereira de Menezes with H5 London Time
* Pedro Muylaert with Gemme Villers
In addition to chef d’équipe Pedro Paulo Lacerda, the Olympic champion Franke Sloothaak has been appointedas technical advisor to support the team during its preparation for and participation in the World Championships.
The announcement marks an important step in the build-up to Aachen, where the world’s leading nations and combinations will meet for one of the most prestigious titles in the sport.
