Daniel Deusser (GER)
Team bronze at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, winner of the FEI World Cup Final in 2014, and winner of the 2013 Top Ten Final riding Evita van de Veldbalie.
This is the 7th time he has ridden in the Top Ten.
What does the Rolex IJRC Top Ten Final mean to you?
I believe that the Top Ten has become one of the favourite classes of the year over the last couple of years and there are only ten riders in a very, very difficult class to win because everyone rides their best horse and it means being on top of the world to compete there.
Which horse will you be riding?
I am not 100% sure which horse I will ride! Certainly one of the best, either Tobago or Killer Queen. Killer Queen is jumping in the big classes now and Tobago is making a come-back and I hope he will be ready for Geneva!
You were the winner of the Rolex IJRC Top Ten Final in 2013. During these past years you have become one of the best riders in the world and are always among the first in the ranking. What does the Top Ten mean to you?
The best riders and horses will be there and if you want to win, and I do, you have to bring the best horses! Then there is the venue, Geneva, the prize money, and it has become an amazing class and like all the riders I am looking forward to competing there.
