The FEI Board agreed with the recommendation of the FEI Jumping Committee to lift the temporary suspension of the CSI Invitation Rules for CSI2* events that had been in place since 7 April 2020 at the end of 2020. CSI2* events are to be re-included in the Invitation System as of 1 January 2021.
For all Events at which the CSI Invitation Rules apply, a certain percentage of Athletes must be invited in descending order of the Longines Ranking, a certain percentage of Athletes will be home Athletes selected by the host NF and a certain percentage will be Athletes invited by the Organising Committee (OC); the percentages for the 2* are established as follows:
