FEI Sports Forum 2024 – Preview of the Day 2

The FEI Sports Forum 2024, which is being held at the prestigious IMD Business School in Lausanne (SUI), continues for a second and final day on Tuesday, 30 April. Proceedings will begin at 09:00 CEST and are expected to end at approximately 17:00 CEST.

The morning will be dedicated to Session 4: FEI Championships Review and will be moderated by Tim Hadaway, FEI Director Games Operations. He will be joined on stage by FEI Commercial Director Ralph Straus; FEI Deputy Legal Director Áine Power; Simone Perillo, Secretary General of the Italian Equestrian Federation (FISE); Michael Stone, President of Wellington International; Casper Cassøe Krüth, Chief Operating Officer, Global Equestrian Group; and Nayla Stössel, President, Longines CSIO St. Gallen.

The day will continue with Session 5: Safeguarding – What National Federations need to know in which Lucy Trochet, FEI Safeguarding Advisor will take the Sports Forum’s delegates through the basic steps involved in putting safeguarding policies and procedures in place.

The FEI Sports Forum 2024 will conclude with Session 6: Equity in equestrian: assessing gender equality across key roles and levels, which will be moderated by Jessica Kürten, Chair of the FEI Athletes Committee and Executive Board Member. It will feature HRH Nanda-Dévi Norodom, Secretary General of the Cambodian Equestrian Federation; Mandana Mehran Pour, Head of Participation and Development at the British Equestrian Federation; and Jack Huang, FEI Executive Board Member as panellists. FEI Sport – Gender Statistics and FEI Global Equestrian Research – Nielsen Report were published ahead of the Session as supporting documents.

The exact timetable along with a brief description of each Session, the biographies of the speakers as well as the summaries from Day 1 along with the respective PowerPoint presentations are available in the online FEI Sports Forum 2024 hub.

A written summary of each session will be made available by the end of the day.

Live broadcast

The FEI Sports Forum 2024 will be broadcast live and will be available to watch here. Those following the event remotely will be able to join the discussion through a live chat.

The Sessions will also be available in replay mode after the end of the Sports Forum.
