FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses 2020 cancelled
The Belgian National Federation has now formally confirmed the cancellation of this year’s FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses, which was scheduled to be held in Lanaken (BEL) from 16-20 September 2020.
The decisions taken during the Belgian Security Council meeting on 27 July, and the general public health measures implemented by the Belgian government due to the ongoing uncertainty and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, has obliged the Organising Committee to make the very difficult decision to cancel the Championships.
The FEI will continue to support Lanaken as the host of these important annual Championships and, together with the Jumping community, we look forward to the next edition in 2021.
