Brazil’s Yuri Mansur wins CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix in Fontainebleau aboard Miss Blue-Saint Blue Farm, Belgians Grégory Wathelet (riding BondJamesbond de Hay) and Gilles Thomas (on Ermitage Kalone) completed the podium, claiming second and third place respectively.
Course designer Grégory Bodo created a challenging and theatrical course, since out of the 50 horse-and-rider combinations entered, only 11 managed clear rounds to qualify for the jump-off.

Yuri Mansur
I knew, from the very first time I rode this mare, that she had extraordinary talent. I believe this is the sixth 5 Grand Prix she has won. The field was incredible, with such amazing riders and horses!
There’s not much I would change if I had to do that jump-off again. Bond Jamesbond was once again incredible. It was another extremely tight jump-off, just like the one we experienced a few months ago at the Longines Equita Lyon.
And finally, I think I can speak for all the riders here when I say a big thank you to Sylvie Robert for organizing such amazing events. It’s a real pleasure for all of us!
I watched Henrik von Eckermann’s round, since his horse has a canter somewhat similar to mine. Maybe I could have done one less stride approaching the double. But I’m already very happy to be here, finishing in third place.
Kent Farrington (USA) aboard Greya won the $400,000 Kentucky International CSI5* Grand Prix last Saturday. In second place was the Irish Olympian Shane Sweetnam, riding James Kann Cruz (Kannan GFE x Cruising) that jumped a clear round in 45.00 seconds. She’s incredibly fast, super careful, and a fighter. She’s a real winner in her heart and an incredible horse, and I’m so proud of her tonight.
