Horse inspection kicked off Olympic action for the jumpers in Paris today

Jumping horses at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, underwent the first Team horse inspections in Versailles today, with two horses failing the re-inspection (Azcarraga ridden by Mexico’s Andres and  Viking d’la Rousserie ridden by Kevin Staut), as we read in the FEI press release,

So the following new additions were made to the French and Mexican teams: Olivier Perreau and Dorai D’Aiguilly will compete for thr the French team alongside Simon Delestre/I Amelusina R 51 and Julien Epaillard/Dubai du Cedre, while Federico Fernandez and Romeo will join Eugenio Garza Perez/Contago and Hank Guerreiro/Porthos Maestro WHZ in the Mexican side when tomorrow’s first Jumping Qualifier gets underway at 11.00.

Australia presented an all-female Jumping team, a rare occurrence in the Olympics. 

The Individual competitions is open to the 30 best placed Athletes (this number to be increased in case of any Athletes tied on Penalties and time for 30th place) from the Individual Qualifier.
