IJRC Board Member Kent Farrington Returns to World No. 1

American rider Kent Farrington is back on top of the Ranking, reclaiming the world number one position after an exceptional month of results.

The IJRC Board Member edged past Scott Brash by just 19 points in the newly released standings, moving onto 3,511 points following a series of outstanding performances with his top horses Toulayna and Greya.

Farrington’s return to the top comes after a remarkable month that included winning the World Cup Final and adding another major success in Lexington with Descartes SR, before finishing on the podium again in Monterrey.

Farrington said after returning to the number one position.

With such a strong field of competitors, I look forward to the continued battles in the sport.

Behind Farrington and Brash, Germany’s Richard Vogel remains third in the rankings, followed by Britain’s Ben Maher and Belgium’s Gilles Thomas.

France’s Nina Mallevaey continues to lead the women’s standings in sixth place overall.

Also returning to the top 10 is IJRC Board Member Steve Guerdat in ninth place, while American rider McLain Ward completes the top 10 rankings.
