IN MEMORIAM: FORMER FEI PRESIDENT INFANTA DOÑA PILAR DE BORBÓN, , 1936 - 2020. THE CLUB IJRC WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS ITS MOST SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO DOÑA PILAR DE BORBÓN'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Infanta Doña Pilar de Borbón, former FEI President (1994-2006) and former Executive Board member of the Spanish National Olympic Committee, Honorary President of the Spanish Equestrian Federation and President of Europa Nostra (2007 and 2009), has passed away in Madrid following a year-long battle with cancer. She was 83.

A lifetime supporter of all things equestrian, she always supported the International Jumping Riders Cub, helping the Club whenever it was necessary.

The athletes will always remember the patience and benevolence which Dona Pilar brought to their problems. It was thanks to her that an important turning point was reached, enabling riders to become involved in the life of the FEI.
