Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final: the Countdown continues: -2 days.
1) How did you plan this year’s season and which horses did you ride to qualify for the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final?
I was very lucky this year with a lot of top horses. Conner Jei, Leone Jei, Chaplin, Commissar Pezi, The Sinner, all helped me to stay in the Top 10 and have a great year with so many different horses at the Grand Prix.
2) What horse will you be riding in the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final? Tell us about him/her? What sort of bond have you established?
I will be riding Conner Jay in this Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final. He is a great horse, he’s already won two 5* Grand Prix. He is very careful, but not the easiest horse. I still struggle sometimes a little bit with him, but he likes the big ring. He was good last year in Geneva so I believe he can be good this year, too. He can be very fast in the jump off or in the second round, so I’m very excited about this Top 10 Final.
3) In spite of being so young your CV is impressive. Individual and Team European Champion, winner of an FEI World Cup Final, Vice World Champion and four times an Olympian… You have won the Geneva Rolex Grand Prix twice in a row. What would it mean to you to win the Top 10?
Obviously it would be great to win the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final. It’s such a unique and special class. Already last year I was saying I’d really like to win this class once! I have already won the Rolex Grand Prix twice, which is also fantastic and unbelievable, but I believe the Top 10 is on top of my list of events I’d like to win one day!
