Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final: the Countdown continues: -5 days.
1) How did you plan this year’s season and which horses did you ride to qualify for the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final?
I always plan the year with what is best for the horses and drive for certain goals. The Top 10 class is one of the best competitions of the year, in which every rider wants to compete. I feel it’s a reward for a consistent season.
2) Which horse will you be riding in the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final? Tell us about him/her. What sort of bond have you established?
I will be riding Exit Remo; he is a new member of my team, owned by Pamela Wright and Charlotte Rossetter. He recently placed 5th in the Madrid World Cup Grand Prix. He’s experienced and I hope he rises to the occasion.
3) With two Olympic medals and countless wins behind you, what does it feel like to be back again this year competing in the Top 10 – on top of being last year’s winner?
It was a huge honour and dream to win the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final last year with the incredible Explosion. We know what it takes to win and we always try to do our best. I hope Exit Remo does Explosion proud!
