Sweden win equestrian jumping team gold

The equestrian jumping gold goes to the Sweden team after an emotional competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games  in a dramatic final round of competition featuring eliminations, last-minute horse swaps and rails toppling down.

Sweden won its fourth team show jumping gold medal ever after an adrenaline-filled jump off.

The gold team is composed by Henrik von Eckermann (King Edward), Malin Baryard-Johnsson (Indiana) and Peder Fredricson (All In).

The United States with Laura Kraut (Baloutine), Jessica Springsteen (Don Juan van de Donkhoeve) and McLain Ward (Contagious) took silver.

The strong Belgium team, that has already won the Team gold at the last Jumping European Championships in Rotterdam in 2019, claimed bronze with Pieter Devos (Claire Z), Jerome Guery (Quel Homme de Hus) and Gregory Wathelet (Nevados S).
