From May 21 to 25, 2025, the eternal city of Rome will once again welcome the world’s top riders and horses for the 92nd edition of the legendary CSIO Roma – Piazza di Siena. A crown jewel in the Rolex Series calendar, the event will take place in the breathtaking gardens of Villa Borghese, where world-class sport, history, and Italian elegance meet in perfect harmony.
This year’s edition will bring together 600 horses and 468 athletes from across the globe, making it one of the most vibrant and anticipated moments of the international show jumping season. But Piazza di Siena is more than a sporting event — it is a living cultural experience. From the newly restored "Fontana dei Pupazzi" to broader heritage and environmental initiatives, the event celebrates not only equestrian excellence but also the rebirth of a historic site in the heart of Rome.
Free and open to the public, the CSIO Roma – Piazza di Siena offers five days of unforgettable competition, from international show jumping classes to the Italia Polo Challenge at the nearby Galoppatoio. The week’s sporting climax, the prestigious Rolex Gran Premio Roma, will take place on Sunday, May 25, bringing together the elite of international show jumping for a Grand Prix steeped in tradition, emotion, and prestige.
Who Will Qualify for the Rolex Gran Premio Roma?
Only the most consistent and competitive combinations of the week will earn a place in Sunday’s Rolex Gran Premio Roma. Riders will qualify through the following key classes:
Thursday, May 22 : 1st Qualification: Premio n. 4 (1.55m), Table A with jump-off
Friday, May 23 : 2nd Qualification: Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup (1.60m)
Saturday, May 24 : Final Qualification: Loro Piana Trophy (1.55m), Table A against the clock with jump-off.
