The Rolex Series heads to Italy from May 27 to 31 for the 100th edition of the CSIO Roma Piazza di Siena, one of the most historic events in international show jumping. Held in the spectacular setting of Rome’s Villa Borghese, the event has welcomed generations of the world’s greatest riders since 1926 and remains one of the sport’s most prestigious competitions.
This year, 76 riders and 178 horses representing 20 nations will compete in the heart of the Italian capital, with the Rolex Gran Premio Roma taking place on Sunday at 12:30 PM.
Winner of the 2025 Rolex Grand Premio Roma, Yuri Mansur returns to Rome alongside Olympic champion Rodrigo Pessoa and Pan American Games champion Stephan de Freitas Barcha , while the home nation will rely on Giulia Martinengo Marquet, Emanuele Camilli, Emanuele Gaudiano, Giampiero Garofalo and Piergiorgio Bucci in front of the Italian crowd.
Germany arrives with reigning European champion and world No. 3 Richard Vogel alongside Christian Ahlmann, while France is represented by world No. 6 Nina Mallevaey.
Great Britain fields a promising young squad featuring Joseph Stockdale, Jack Whitaker, Adrian Whiteway and Jessica Mendoza, while Belgium brings one of the strongest teams of the competition with reigning European team champion Thibeau Spits, world No. 5 Gilles Thomas, Nicola Philippaerts and Emilie Conter.
Ireland also arrives with a strong line-up including Denis Lynch, Cian O’Connor and rising talent Tom Wachman, while the United States team features Olympic champion and world No. 11 Laura Kraut. Mexico also returns to the Nations Cup this year.
The nations represented in the Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup are Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Sweden and the United States.
