Andre Thieme (GER) made just one World Cup start during the 2022-2023 North American League season, and he made it count.
He and his championship mount DSP Chakaria topped the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Ocala at Live Oak Stud (USA), besting an 11-horse jump-off. Maria Gabriela Brugal Gasso (DOM) and J’Adore Flamenco finished second, with Santiago Lambre (BRA) and Chacco Blue third.
Ocala’s event brought the NAL season to a close, finalizing the league standings. Daniel Coyle (IRL) ends the season as the series leader with 66 points, followed by fellow Irishman Conor Swail (56 points) and Israel’s Daniel Bluman (54 points). Hunter Holloway, fourth in the standings, is the top-ranked U.S. athlete with 40 points.
The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final is set for 4-8 April 2023 in Omaha, NE (USA).
