The Showjumping German team was already known but it was the reserve combination who still had to be chosen.
Reserve combination is:
- Jana Wargers (Emsdetten) with Dorette (15-year-old Oldenburg mare by Dollar du Murier - Fighting Alpha, owner: Ashford Farm BVBA and Jana Wargers, breeder: Stefan Leue, groom: Anna-Lena Lex).
The already announced team is:
- Richard Vogel (Pfungstadt) with United Touch S (12-year-old Westphalian stallion by Untouched - Lux, owner and breeder: Julius-Peter Sinnack, groom: Viola Felicia Wallin)
- Philipp Weishaupt (Hörstel) with Zineday (ten-year-old Westphalian gelding by Zinedine - Polydor (owner: Alice Lawaetz and Philipp Weishaupt, breeder: Franz-Georg Ottmann, groom: Lisa Fundis)
- Christian Kukuk (Hörstel) with Checker (ten-year-old Westphalian gelding by Comme il Faut - Come On (owner: M.H. & Partner Gbr and Madeleine Winter-Schulze, breeder: Wolfgang Kipp, groom: Sofie Karlsson)
