4 July - The partnership as official outfitter between Giorgio Armani and the CONI is going on. Giorgio Armani will dress all the Italian athletes of the Olympic and Paralympic team for the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016, as already done for the 2012 London Olympics and the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014.
The first of July, there was an event to present the Collection with the participation of 36 athletes CONI (including libania grenot, Valeria Straneo, Carlotta Ferlito, Vanessa Ferrari, Giulia Quintavalle, Marco Galliazzo) and 9 Paralympic athletes (including Annalisa Minetti).
The sports clothing are blue with the logo EA7, the "Italia" and the new logo CONI in gold. The suit to be weared on the podium presents white graphic inserts.
Inside of all the jackets and under the neck of all the polo shirts, it is embroidered the first verse of the "Inno di Mameli".
Giorgio Armani has also created a special suit that the athletes will wear for the opening ceremony.
