Bad fall for Marco Kutscher in Rome

Today Marco Kutscher jumped very well the first round of the Loro Piana Gran Prix in Rome, but during the second round he fell with his horse in the very first part of the course.

He is hospitalized at Umberto I hospital in Rome. The first radiological and ultrasound ascertainments allow a sigh of relief on the general conditions of the German rider. At the moment Kutscher (who is with Michael Rupig, member of the German Federation board and traumatologist by profession), is under observation and a new update will be released tomorrow morning. Vittorio Orlandi, the President of the Italian Equestrian Federation paid him a visit at the hospital to follow the first aid operations. Eleonora Ottaviani, the show director, is following closely the developments.
Van Gogh, Marco's horse, reported no injuries. We will update you as soon as possible and we wish Marco a quick recover.
