14 March - The younger Belgian riders where in a league of their own in the 1’50m jump off class, the “Audi Prijs”, taking the two top spot of the final standings. Fifteen pairs qualified for the jump off against the clock and finally 9 of them will achieve a double clear round in this fast jump off where less than a second divided the four top riders. Fouth to go in the jump off, Belgium’s young talented Olivier Philippaerts in the saddle of his speedy grey mare, H&M Legend Of Love (Landzauber) would take the lead following a fabulous round, taking every possible short turn and one stride less to the last oxer, to cross the timers flying in an unbeatable time of 35’10. His fellow countryman Pieter Devos in the saddle of Dream Of India Greenfield (Gem Of India) tried his best to beat his compatriot’s time but finally has to settle for 2nd place in this Audi Prijs as the pair stopped the clock 0’20 hundreds behind the leader’s winning time. The first day’s major class winner in s’Hertogenbosch, Brasil’s Marlon Zanotelli and Jos Lansink’s former ride, Zerlin M (Berlin) had a great try and take 3rd place in a time of 35’37 and the world’s nº1, Britain’s Scott Brash and his new and extremely promising new ride, Hello Forever (For Pleasure) where the fourth pair to stop the clock in the 35 seconds range to take 4th position.
