Aboard his stallion Chaman (Baloubet de Rouet x I love you), Beerbaum bested his colleague Hansi Dreher by only a few tenths of a second to take the top prize, a Mercedes car.
Following Dreher was Olympic champion Steve Guerdat who finished third with Concetto son.
Earlier in the day, home rider David Will won the 1.45m speed class with the mare High Voltage SB.
Pius Schwizer finished second with Sibell du Gisors, after finishing more than a second behind Will. Shane Breen continued on good form by finishing third with Calido Boy.
In the 1.50 class we saw the return of Lacrimoso HDC with French superstar Patrice Delaveau. The top combination took the win ahead of Doda de Miranda and Marco Kutscher.
