CSI5* ‘s-Hertogenbosch : Daniel Deusser wins the Rolex Grand Prix

15 March -  German rider Daniel Deusser won the Rolex Grand Prix of Indoor Brabant today with the 12 year old gelding Cornet d’amour (Cornet Obolensky x Damiani) after posting two flawless rounds. Deusser was last to go in this mammoth jump-off and took the win off of British veteran Michael Whitaker, who eventually finished second.

In the first round clear rounds were hard to come by. The first clear came from German rider Christian Ahlmann with his Aachen Grand Prix winning mount Codex One (Contendro I x Glueckspilz), soon enough more clears came and in the end 16 riders qualified for the jump-off.

The jump-off boasted some blistering rounds, with each rider besting the one before them. In the end Deusser took the win ahead of Whitaker and current World.no 1 Scott Brash took third place on his top horse Hello Sanctos (Quasimodo v. Molendreef x Nabab de Reve).
