Codex One will not be available for the European Championship
24 July - The stallion Codex One, rode by Christian Ahlmann in the last three championships will not be available for the European Championship this year in Aachen. The 13-year-old horse got injured at the CHIO in Rotterdam and his recovery takes longer as expected so Christian together with the horse's owner Marion Jauss, decided to give Code One more time to recover. So even if the horse now is better, the short time before the European Championship doesn't help to give the horse the best possible preparation.
Christian have two other horses in the longlist for the European: Taloubet Z (by Galoubet A) and Epleaser van ‘t Heike (by For Pleasure).
At the beginning of August he will know if he will compete in the European.
