DARRAGH KENNY LOSES TOP HORSES
17 July - Irish show jumper, Darragh Kenny has announced the departure of his sponsor Hyperion Stud. For Kenny this means a disaster as most top horses, amongst others, Imhotep, are in ownership of the studfarm.
Together with the 12-year-old Indoctro-son, Imothep, Kenny had a great time at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, 2014. The pair ended in an individual 12th spot.
Further Kenny loses Cohiba VDL, Alpha VDL and Chin Quidam VDL. “It is a shame to lose such great horses. I rode together a lot of successes. Imothep is a wonderful horse. Now it is time to lok at the future. Nevertheless I am gratefull for all opportunities I got.” States Darragh Kenny.
