DEUSSER AND BEERBAUM SKIP GERMAN SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS
30 May - According to the German press current German Show jumping Champion, Daniel Deusser and living ledgend, Ludger Beerbaum, won’t compete at this years German Show Jumping Championships in Balve from June 11 – 14. German Team Coach, Otto Becker, confirmed that both Deusser and Beerbaum will instead be competing at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Cannes, France. In Cannes a total of about 1,000,000 Euro is on stake divided in several classes.
Otto Becker statest that the set up and decision making has become more crucial than ever before. The level of competitions is augmenting and the riders have to make sure not to burn their horses. The German Championship is a very difficult and demanding comeptition with 4 rounds. Therefor some of the other better teams won’t compete as they have the CSIO in St. Gallen and Rotterdam on the schedule.
Daniel Deusser won the German Show Jumping Title in 2013 and 2014.
