Denis Lynch sets Braunschweig on fire.
22 March - Ireland’s Denis Lynch has spend the best week of his sport career in Braunschweig and has proved unbeatable at the show’s three major classes. Following his win in Friday’s “Preis der Volkswagen AG”, and his second win in yesterday’s “Veolia Championat” he achieves a third major win in today’s “Großer Preis von Volkswagen”in the saddle of his faithful Abbervail vh Dingeshof (Non Stop). Twelve pairs exited the ring faultless to advance to the jump off where only five of them would be able to leave all the fences in their cups. First to enter the ring for the jump off round would be Toni Hassmann on Crocant (Chalan) who’ll set the time to beat in 39’67 a time that will be good enough for 3rd position at the end of the class s next to go, Ludger Beerbaum’s stable rider, Sweden’s Henrik Von Eckermann and For Sale (For Pleasure) would improve their time to settle for 2nd place in 37’14. But then the second last to enter the arena of the Löwwen Classic, the winner of the two previous major classes, Denis Lynch and Abbervail vh Dingeshof would jump an amazing round taking an inside turn to the second last fence, that no one else dared to try, and stopping the clock in 36’06 to take their third win of the week and drive the brand new car offered to the Grand Prix winner, back home.
