Duel in the Desert: International Show Jumpers and National Reined Cow Horse Riders Switch Saddles at 2015 FEI World Cup™ Finals in Las Vegas
18 April - On Saturday night Steve Guerdat and his teammate Brandon Buttarswon won the "Duel in the Desert”, a special exhibition with three show jumpers teamed with three National Reined Cow Horse Association riders in the "Duel in the Desert."
The Duel in the Desert, an entertainment interlude after the $75,000 CP Grand Prix of Las Vegas, pitched teams of a reining cow horse rider and a show jumper against one another, with the show jumpers working a cow and the cow horse riders jumping a small course. Swiss show jumper Steve Guerdat (right) and his partner Brandon Buttars earned the greatest number of points from the expert judges and audience enthusiasm for the win.
