FEI ATHLETES CANDIDATES ELECTION: The voting phase for the 2018-2022 Athlete Representatives is now open!
Athletes representative: your vote is important to elect the new Athlete Representative who will have to represent in the best possible way the International jumping community.
The term of the current FEI Athlete Representatives for Jumping, Rodrigo Pessoa is about to come to an end.
The IJRC thanked it’s Board member Rodrigo, for all the precious work he did till now as FEI Athlete Representatives, as this position is really important providing a voice to the jumping community within the global decision making process.
The athlete representative is part of the FEI Jumping Committee, the highest authority for the international show jumping, put together to discuss everything that is currently in play in the international jumping world and is also part of the FEI Athletes Committee, which is formed from representatives across all FEI disciplines.
The names of the new candidates were announced last 8 of May.
The IJRC presents the candidature of Ms Lisen Bratt Fredricson (SWE).
The Irish National Federation presents the candidature of Mr Cian O'Connor (IRL). The other two candidacies are: Mr Sanjay BAGAI (IND) and Mr Nicolas Pizarro Suarez (MEX).
The election for online voting has just opened until 23 September 2018 23:59 CEST (17:59 Tryon, NC time) and the result of the election will most likely be announced to the public on 24 September.
As indicated in the FEI official web site, the Eligibility Criteria for the on line voting are:
- to be 18 years old on July 28th;
- to have either competed in one of the last two senior FEI World Championships or Olympic Games or Paralympic Games in the discipline for which the voter wants to vote.
Your vote is important to elect the new athlete representative who will represent in the best possible way the International jumping community, so please read carefully the how the voting process works.
Voting process:
- In order to vote, you will need to fill in a registration form so the FEI can confirm you meet the eligibility requirements. Please note you will be asked to upload an ID picture.
- Within 72 hours of submitting your registration, you will receive from FEI an email with your Username, Password and a link to cast your vote.
