The Longines Grand Prix of St. Moritz was more than exciting. Nine riders were qualified for the jump-off, among them one Swiss, Alain Jufer with Rahmannshof Tic Tac. He was the first to start the jump-off and he did it with a sure and clear round, what paid off. Only Robert Whitaker (GBR) with Catwalk and the Belgian Wilm Vermeir aboard Iq van het Steentje were in front of him. Vermeir had already shown his great form during the weekend. Already on Saturday he won a class over 150 cm.
