France’s greatest breeder, Germain Levallois has passed away. The International Jumping Riders Club wants to send its most sincere condolences to Germain Levallois’s son Eric and to all his family and the global Jumping community.



At the age of 81, France’s greatest breeder, Germain Levallois has passed away 3 days ago.

Germain Levallois was the man that changed the breeding system in France when with his favorite stallion, Le Tot De Semilly, bred by Jules Mesnildrey, he bred top horses like for example the world champion Diamant De Semilly.

With Diamant De Semilly, his son Eric Levallois won team gold with at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera.

Levallois was the man behind the famous Semilly-horses, the Levallois family, who established and developed the Semilly's Stud farm almost 30 years ago, has been working with horses for generations.
