LUDGER BEERBAUM's former top horse CHIARA has passed away at the age of 16 yesterday morning.
Ludger and Chiara has been won a lot of top International competitions for more then 8 years. The pair was also part of the German team at the European Championships in 2013 and 2015, where in both occasions, they won the silver team medal. In 2014, they were Vice Champions at the World Cup Finals in Lyon.
On the official Ludger's web site we read: "Sad news from our stable. Chiara died this morning. Four weeks after a colic surgery, her condition has deteriorated so much, that, after consultation with the veterinarians, we decided to put Chiara to sleep with her best interest in mind.
Ludger Beerbaum says: -Of course, this decision hits hard. Chiara has been much more to me than a sports partner over the years."
