Goodbye Lianos

Rodrigo Pessoa's former top horse Lianos has passed away at the age of 32.

Lianos ridden by Rodrigo, won one of the most prestigious medal ever, the gold at the FEI World Equestrian Games ™ in Rome in 1998, writing his name forever in the equestrian showjumping history. In his long career he has collected an amazing numbers of prestigious successes that have made him one of the best horse in the world.

Just to remember some: he won the Masters at Spruce Meadows in 2000 and 2001 as well as the Prize of Europe in Aachen (1999), the World Cups in Amsterdam (1999), Geneva (2000) and Verona (2002), the Grand Prix of Geneva (1998), the Grand Prix of Falsterbo (2003) as well as many other important competitions around the world.

Lianos lived out the twilight years of his life in Castellazzo near Milan, at his owner Vittorio Orlandi's place in Italy.
