In Redefin, this past weekend, the final stage for Selection 2016: enjoy the video enjoy the video with the voice of the protagonists!


Twelve riders from seven different countries started this past week end at CSI 3* in Redefin to complete the second and final selection for 2016 program.



 



Maurice Tebbel, Emma O´Dwyer, Millie Allen, Jack Dodd, Michael Duffy, Johan Gulliksen, Pål Flam, Benedikte Serigstad Endresen, Maksymilian Wechta, Adam Grzegorzewski, Maria Bibikova, Ventsislav Izov.



 



The program started last Friday again with the official presentation, the selection itself was evaluating riding in two Medium Tour classes on Saturday and on Sunday.



 



Apart from the riding, also in Redefin, therewas an individual interview for each candidate to assess the personal skills on different topics as motivation and communication.



 



Selection was supervised by Emile Hendrix and Heinrich Hermann Engemann, Sven Holmberg together with Eleonora Ottaviani will coordinate the interviews.

The young Riders Academy is a program conceived for European talented young show jumpers, under the patronage of the European Equestrian Federation (EEF), with the cooperation of the International Jumping Riders Club (IJRC) and the support of Rolex.


Founded in 2014 by Athenaeum, a non-profit association, the program will give talented riders between the ages of 18 and 23 the chance to get six months of training and boarding at a well-known professional stable. On top of that, professional education in communication, business and economics, veterinary and legal practice related to show jumping. The objective is to develop future champions as well as potential managers of this sport.
