Never before has Gothenburg hosted the European Championships. Never before will an equestrian event have such an impact on an entire city. Don’t miss out on experience the magic atmosphere at Ullevi Stadium in August.

It is about 70 days to go until the European Championships starts in Gothenburg. We guide you through the highlights of the week.

Jumping
On Wednesday 23, all participants will enter the first individual Jumping round. Faults result in a time penalty, which is added to the rider’s total time in the next round. The next day the team competitions starts and on Friday we’ll have a winner! The teams’ result from Thursday is added to the result of the second round, and the team with the lowest score is the winner.
The 25 most successful riders compete in an individual final on Sunday 27. This final consists of two initial rounds, and the rider with the fewest faults wins the title of individual European Champion in Jumping. This class will be a battle amongst the best of the best. We can’t wait!

Dressage
On Tuesday and Wednesday the dressage teams compete for the team medals. The Swedes are willing to put up a fight, but who will they go up against?
For the dressage lovers the excitement continues on Friday and Saturday when the individual competitions sets off. Will there be a new Valegro?
