Jumping Legend puts his boots aside
28 April - Today Belgian showjumping legend, Ludo Philippaerts, has announced his departure of the showjumping top sport. At his Studfarm Dorperheide he stated to focus on the career of his twins Olivier and Nicola. “After my fall in Fontainebleau, last year, I started to doubt,” says Ludo. “I have thought about all this for a long time. The fact Olivier and Nicola are doing so well lately, made me realize it is time for the younger generation.”
“The most memorable moment of my career was the Silver Medal at the European Championships in Arnhem, 2001.” He concludes.
