Kent Farrington won in great style the Grand Prix in Valence
The USA Olympic rider Kent Farrington, was unbeatable at the international horse show in Valence, France, winning the 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix victory riding the 11-year-old Kashmir van Schuttershof-daughter, Gazelle.
11 combinations qualified for the jump-off, where the faster was Kent Farrington with the time of 35.32 seconds, one second faster then the Ireland’s Shane Breen with the 10-year-old Lord Z-son, Laith. The pair stopped the clock in 36.40 seconds.
In third place Eric Lamaze with the 12-year-old Coco Bongo (by Caretino).
The top five was completed by Yury Mansur (Babylotte, by Dollar du Murier) in fourth and John Whitaker with Crumley (by Cassus) in fifth.
