LUCIANA DINIZ FINISHED FIFTH IN THE VIENNA GRAN PRIX, THANKS TO THE HELP OF HER FRIENDS AND OF HER HORSE: Winningmood!

LUCIANA DINIZ despite a fall in a class in Vienna, where she twisted her ankle, managed to compete in the Gran Prix finishing fifth overall.

She wrote on her facebook page:

" Winny is the hero of the day. With the help of my team and friends I built myself up again to be able to ride the Grand Prix. I had to push beyond my pain threshold, past my limits. Even then, I couldn’t walk the course. In the first round, my colleagues Scott Brash and Marcus Ehning gave me some tips. In the second, my neighbor in the stables, Chico Azevedo, walked the course for me. Jess was shuttling me all over the showground on a bike, so I could avoid walking. Even with the pain, that was fun, though we did have one crash, tipping over into a box in the stables. Wlad, Rebeca and Brenda supported me at every moment. And Winny is this Sunday story’s GREAT HERO. He carried me through those 3 rounds in the GP with all his heart. I could take the obstacles with a smile in my face. Life is not only about positive thinking. My thinking yesterday played its part in bringing me to that crash. Life’s full of accidents, falls, mishaps of all kinds. Rethinking positive thinking is an important lesson for me, planning for the unpredictable, and making something impossible possible. The power of the subconscious is scary sometimes. The world is a projection of our minds. A good mind, a good world. Happiness doesn't come from getting everything we want. It comes from sharing what we have and our experiences—the ups and the downs—with the people who matter."
