List of Athlete Candidates – Representatives on FEI Technical Committees/Athletes’ Committee

The list of athletes who have applied to represent their disciplines on their respective FEI Technical Committees is available on http://www.fei.org/hub/athletes/athlete-elections-2014.

* Athlete eligibility criteriaathlete must be  least 18 years of age, has  competed in one of the last two senior FEI World Championships or Olympic Games in the Discipline for which the athlete is  seeking election; and has a clean anti-doping record with respect to both the Equine Anti-Doping & Control Medication Rules (EADCMRs) and the Anti-Doping Rules for Human Athletes (ADRHAs) as of April 2010.

Each listed candidate has fulfilled the eligibility criteria and has agreed to the terms included in the Rules of Conduct for the election campaign.

The election of Athlete Representatives will take place on 15 April 2014 (00:00 CEST) and will remain open until 1 June 2014 (23:59 CEST).

Only FEI registered athletes aged 18 years and over who are included on their respective Ranking List (31 January 2013) will be eligible to vote for their discipline’s Athlete Representative (FEI Internal Regulations Art. 6.9.4 Athletes Committee - Election).

The election will take place via a secured online electronic voting platform, tested and approved by the Equine Community Integrity Unit (ECIU). This electronic voting platform will be available on www.fei.org from 15 April 2014. The résumés (CVs) received for all candidates can be found on the voting platform.

Who may vote?

Only FEI registered Athletes aged 18 years and over who are included on their respective Ranking List (31 January 2013) are eligible to vote for their discipline’s Athlete Representative. (Please refer to FEI Internal Regulations Art. 6.9.4 Athletes Committee - Election)

How will the vote take place?

Via a secured online electronic voting platform, tested and approved by the Equine Community Integrity Unit (ECIU), available on this page as of 15 April 2014. The Resumés (CVs) received for each candidate will be made available for review on the voting platform.

TIMELINE

31 March 2014: Deadline to receive completed Curriculum Vitae form and signed Rules of Conduct: Campaign for Election;

10 April 2014: Announcement of candidates received;

15 April 00:00 CEST-01 June 2014 23:59 CEST: Online electronic elections (1st ballot);

16 June-16 July 2014: Online electronic elections (if applicable, 2nd & final ballot);

17 July 2014: Announcement of the result of the elections
