2 June - This year Pénélope Leprevost is probably not thinking about the European Championships. In an interview, published in the Gazette de CSI Bourg-en-Bresse, Leprevost explains she isn’t counting on competing at the Championship in Aachen. Because Flora de Mariposa is injured and only Vagabond de la Pomme is available to compete on this level,. However Leprevost hasn’t excluded the Championships from her agenda. For sure for the next year’s Olympic Games, she is counting on the two horses.

It is a logical decision. In the past the grey and brown horse proved to do their job. Flora rode to the Silver Medal at the Alltech World Equestrian Games with the French team in 2014. Vagabond finished second in this years FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas. Other side of the coin is … France now potentially loses the one femal team member it had to represent its colours in Aachen. If we won’t see Leprevost in Aachen is of course still an open question. All depends if Flora will be recovered in time to ride the French selections.
