12 December - Kent Farrington and his super horse Voyeur, won last night, this unique event beaten the best riders in the world!
He finished nearly a second and a half faster than France’s Simone Delestre in Round 2.
Kent said: "In a competition like that, you have the best riders in the world and they’re all incredibly fast. So going early in the jumpoff, I decided I was really going to go for the win and try to put the pressure on everybody else."
Simone Delestre commented: “Everybody was going fast with fast horses. For myself, I had a good jumpoff I was quite fast, but for sure Kent was in really amazing form today.”
Germany’s Daniel Deusser, who finished in 3
rd with First Class Van Eeckelghem, regarding the first round commented: “I thought it was a very nice first round, it was big enough, but all the horses jumped it really good with right clear rounds."
