The fantastic mare Silvana HDC, ridden by France’s Kevin Staut and owned by Haras Des Coudrettes of Normandy, France, will be retired in a few short weeks at the Bordeaux CSI5*.

On Kevin Facebook page it is written: "The Farewell of Silvana * HDC IN CSI of Bordeaux Sunday 7 February won't be a moment like the others for my team, the stud of coudrettes and jumpfive who will come down to the great full to pay tribute to Silvana * HDC.

News Release Haras Des Coudrettes:
" Our princess will get his reverence just before the grand prix of the city.
Silvana is absolutely beautiful, very healthy and has the vitality of a filly 4 years of age. Some might even say that she has never been so beautiful! It is precisely for this reason that his rider, his groom and his owners have taken the decision of the stop now at the dawn of its 17 years.
The story of love between Silvana and the stud of coudrettes began in Bordeaux in 2012 when silvana and Kevin gave him a few weeks after his arrival in their stable their first great victory under affix hdc. It was therefore natural for all of us that this is in Bordeaux that silvana to say their goodbyes surrounded by all those who love him. This will be a time full of emotion but it won't be a sad time because ultimately nothing will really change to Silvana who will continue her life in the haras de la forge under the windows of Kevin and under the Caresses of its owners."
