Swiss make last minute change to European Championships team
Next week the senior show jumping riders will battle it out in Gotenborg for the European Championships. Last minute the Swiss federation has decided, together with Paul Estermann, to switch Estermann with the in Belgium-living, Janika Sprunger and Aris CMS.
Estermann has been in the media recently because of an accusation of an animal welfare case.
Estermann’s Former groom accused him in March earlier this year of animal abuse. As there is no final court decision yet, Estermann isn’t able to compete at the European Championships as well as Nations Cup competitions.
