The 100 faces of equestrianism

The frescoed hall of the historic Ca' Sagredo Hotel in Venice provided a glamorous backdrop to the Italian award ceremony for "The 100 faces of equestrianism," hosted last Monday night by Lob Consulting.

The event saw six inspirational examples of equestrianism from around the world crowned as the most influential in the sport, in a highly emotional atmosphere.

Eleonora Ottaviani,  IJRC'S Director  for over 20 years, was elected as face number 78 at the ceremony. Among her other achievements, Eleonora has been Event Director of many of the most important competitions  around the world and is among the founders of the Young Riders' Academy.

Eleonora spoke about the achievements of the IJRC, underlining  the club's contribution to drafting new rules in showjumping, alongside the FEI.

She concluded by highlighting the Top 10 Final, organized annually by the IJRC, which has become one of the most important events on the equestrian calendar.
