The 2015 Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen to take place in May

13 July - In 2015 Aachen hosts the FEI European Championships in five equestrian disciplines.Nevertheless, the Rolex Grand Prix - the Grand Prix of Aachen - will also be held in Aachen's Soers in the year 2015. "We have decided to stage this one competition, because we don't want to do without this most traditional jumping competition in the world, not even for that single year," commented Carl Meulenbergh, President of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein, organisers of the event. "It was important to us to offer our loyal crowd their Grand Prix of Aachen even in the year of the European Championships."

 The best showjumpers in the world will be anticipated in Aachen on Sunday, May 31st, 2015.Consequently Aachen will again be part of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping in 2015 as well. The programme will include an international jumping competition on the previous day. This was announced in the run-up to this year's World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen, jointly by the CHIO Aachen organisers and the Lord Mayor of Aachen, Marcel Philipp.
