The British riders dominated Lummen’s Grand Prix
12 April - The British riders dominated the Grand Prix today in Lummen for the second competition week of the Spring Tour with Guy Williams taking his second consecutive win in one of the CSI3* major classes, this one aboard Zaire (Indoctro). Fourteen pairs qualified for the jump off and 8 will achieve a double clear round but no one could better Guy William and Zaire’s time of 36’60 that will offer the great British rider his second win in a row this week in Lummen. His compatriote Hollie Gillott and her amazing Dougie Douglas (Douglas VDL) stopped the clock a little behind Guy’s time in 36’85 to settle for runner up position and last week’s Grand Prix winner, home rider Karel Cox and his talented Gentleman (Couleur Rubin) took 3rd position on the podium this week as they crossed the timers in 37’40.
