The Jumping International of Valence is about to start
The Jumping International of Valence keeps growing and assures its position as one of the most beautiful international showjumping event organized in France. In 2017, for its third year of existence, the show integrates the prestigious circle of CSI5*, guarantee of excellence for any international competition.
New this year, the event will take place over two weekends, from August, 17 to 27 2017, in the wonderful Haras des Grillons in Ratières, Drôme, France. The first two editions knew an uncontestable success, both in a sportive and a festive way, numerous spectators came to cheer on the best riders in the world. A general craze explained by the great infrastructure that Haras des Grillons offers and also by a flawless organization.
This year, Eleonora Ottaviani, headmaster of the IJRC (International Jumping Riders Club) will lead the sport part and she already affirms it is going to be a not to miss of the season. Besides adding one more star to its program, the Jumping International of Valence will highlight a new generation of riders thanks to U25 classes.
The event will offer the very last CSI5* before the European Championships of Göteborg, and also a CSIU25-A from August, 17th to 20th and a CSI2* from August 24th to 27th. Two weeks of top level sport, full of emotion, which will gather around 500 riders and 800 horses. To welcome everyone in the best conditions ever, the infrastructures have been enlarged to respect high-level shows quality.
Sadri Fegaier, president of the show, thought larger and has some great surprises for the public « the soule of the event » as he like to say. Supported by sponsors as SFAM, MercedesBenz, Axeria or MMA, GBG, the Jumping International of Valence ensures its future in the international showjumping calendar.
