5 November - The fourth leg of the Longines FEI World Cup in the Western European League takes place in Verona, Italy this weekend. The CSI5* event attracts a strong field of riders; the leader of the league Steve Guerdat will be present, as will Roger Yves Bost – who won the leg in Lyon this past weekend, world number one Scott Brash, and then eight more in the top ten on the world ranking: Ludger Beerbaum, Marcus Ehning, Kent Farrington, Kevin Staut, Patrice Delaveau, Daniel Deusser, Maikel van der Vleuten and Penelope Leprevost.
