Victory for Romain Duguet in the Longines Grand Prix in St. Gallen
7 June - In lovely summer weather and with best conditions the final round was thrilling from the first to the last rider. Times got faster and faster and as tenth on the green Roman Duguet and his 11 years old mare Quorida de Treho had a clear round and with 46.48 seconds they set a new time to beat. Steve Guerdat tried with Nino Des Buissonnets, but finished with 47.25 as 2nd. As last to compete in the final round with the best time in the first one, Claudia Gisler with Cordel had a fault at the second obstacle, which made her finish as 13th in the final ranking. Third on the podium was Darrah Kenny from Ireland with Sans Soucis Z with 48.75 seconds. Further Swiss riders in the ranking are Janika Sprunger as 5th, Nadja Peter Steiner as 7th, Christina Liebherr as 9th and Edwin Smits as 11th.
