World No1 Scott Brash wins ahead of the Grand Prix in Madrid

4 May - Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Annie won yesterday afternoon's CSI5* 1.45m in fine style ahead of the feature class today, the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid Grand Prix. Brash came from the later half of the draw to better Luca Moneta (ITA) and Jesus de la Commune's time by almost half a second, pushing the Italian into 2nd. Many riders came close to bettering his time but could not quite do it, with the top five all finishing within one second of each other. Italy had a strong result with Emanuele Gaudiano and Caesario 6 claiming 3rd.
